With 50+ years of experience, the Southeast Iowa Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) is a leading provider of electrical apprenticeship programs and career training.
The five year program holds classes four hours a day, one a day week, during the school year plus 1 Saturday a month. The school is located at 1205 North Central Avenue in Burlington, Iowa. Apprentices are required to attend weekly classes and maintain a passing grade throughout their apprenticeship.
The instructors are journeymen wiremen schooled in teaching the curriculum developed by the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee that produces one of the best electrical trainings programs available today.
Upon completion, apprentices earn journeyman certification and are ready to meet the talent needs of electrical contractors across Southeast Iowa in Burlington, Ottumwa, Keokuk, Fairfield, Oskaloosa and surrounding regions.
Our instructors have decades of combined experience and work closely to tailor the curriculum to latest National Electrical Code standards and local construction demands.
