Maintain Essential Skills

With the implementation of the Iowa State Electrical License, anyone working in the State of Iowa as an electrician must obtain a license that renews every three years.    In the dynamic world of the electrical industry, technologies, codes and standards, and customer requirements are constantly changing. Therefore, Iowa-licensed electricians are required to participate in continuing education to maintain their electrical licenses. These courses help electrical professionals gain and maintain the essential skills that are necessary to be successful in today’s competitive electrical industry.

All Registrations due by April 2, 2024, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Classroom facilities

The Southeast Iowa JATC recognizes the importance of having proper classroom facilities that support effective learning. That’s why the classrooms are thoughtfully designed to promote an environment that is conducive to learning for apprentices. With ample space, comfortable seating, and adequate lighting, apprentices can focus on their lessons without any distractions.

To enhance the learning experience, the classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual aids. These aids, such as projectors and interactive whiteboards, are an essential tool for instructors to deliver their weekly lessons effectively. Instructors can present the material in a way that engages the apprentices and encourages active participation.
